Sharing Sharing Tab
This tab appears in the Mailbox Properties dialog and is used to configure the sharing of mailboxes via IMAP and webmail. This allows the creation of public shares - elsewhere known as 'public folders'.
Mailbox Sharing
Check this box to enable the currently selected Mailbox to be shared.
Selecting users to share the mailbox with
Enable the check box on the left of the user accounts allowed to access the shared IMAP mailbox.
To enable the users to write to that IMAP mailbox click on the checkbox in the right most column.
Folder Sharing
Option to allow folders in mailslots to be visible in
IMAP shares is enabled from build 2.12.1.2280

Configuration Tip
Accessing shared folders in Outlook
Outlook must query the Mailtraq server to learn which mailboxes/folders are available as shares. You do this by right-clicking on the Outlook IMAP account Inbox. The Outlook Imap Folders dialog box will open.
Click the [Query] button and Outlook will display the folders it has access to. Use the Subscribe/Unsubscribe buttons to make your choices. |
