How to do a Simple Upgrade
Download the new version
You can access the latest builds of Mailtraq directly from this page: download
or use the link supplied to you by Mailtraq Support.
Install the new version
- Shutdown Mailtraq
- Take a 'safety' backup of the Mailtraq Database folder.
The default location is 'C:\Program Files\Mailtraq\Database'
- Run the download
- Restart Mailtraq if it does not restart automatically.
- You may archive or discard the 'safety' Database backup
after you have confirmed the successful upgrade.
Configuration Tips:
1.) This method must only be used if you are upgrading within an existing version
For example: Mailtraq 2.12.0.mmmm -> 2.12.0.nnnn
and you are sure that you have Current Upgrade Protection, having bought or renewed with the last 12 months.

2.) Unless you have otherwise been advised by Support, you should be aware that some builds may have Beta or other untested pre-release features that should not be used in a production environment. If you have any questions, simply contact us before installing
3.) Now would be a good time to review your Backup policy
