AddressOf()

Extracts a usable address string from an input string or creates an address from an input string.

address := AddressOf( string )

string

The address string from which an address is required

address

A string containing the interpreted address

  AddressOf("Fred Bloggs <fred@home.example.com>")

Note

This function may also be used to create an address from a string which does not contain an address. Mailtraq uses the domain specified in the Domain Name field of the Server tab in the Server Properties dialog by default when creating the domain portion of the address. In the following example the value of LOCALHOST is "example.com"
